Community Plantings
In 2020, cheery colors were selected: reds, yellow, purples. Plants for the hayracks include purple Angelonia, Lantana “Bananarama”, Coleus, red/orange Calibrachoa, and purple Scaevola. The urns have Illumination Golden Picotee Begonias, Torenia and variegated Vinca. My intention was to add loads of Creeping Jenny dripping down the sides of the urns, but I could find it nowhere. I’ve discovered that some states have begun classifying it as ‘invasive’, so most greenhouses have ceased growing it.
Veronica, Kimberly, Katy, Nancy, Sharman, Dolly, Beate, Eugenie, Louisa and Margot are all contributing to the loveliness and liveliness!
